now I am elated I purchased this obon tray. It’s really stunning and it gave me the perfect place to display my *essential* Tatcha products without looking overcrowded. It’s also just a lovely gold tone tray with so many potential uses, that I usually would never purchase if Tatcha’s genius marketing team hadn’t created the perfect sense of urgency at the best time and tied the gold theme together with the updated packaging/Tatcha label (for most fungible products), and simultaneously offered other beautiful limited edition gold-toned tools and accessories like the the bowl and brush with the golden hanger that air dries the face wash - really nice looking ON this tray. I bought all of my own birthday gifts at the perfect time: right at the previous bonus time. I have no regrets! A day at a spa would have been much more expensive and I love Tatcha products so now I’m learning I love their other releases like this tray! I adore this tray (and everything else I purchased that time - I will review those items sometime), but the bonus products (many full sized and things I actually wanted to try!), as well as free shipping, AND great samples, made buying things like this stunning little tray, the wood massage balls, and other goods like the collab silk pillow case, and the robe, for the first time instead pf just the great Tatcha skincare products, an easy choice that I now struggle to resist at any bonus time. I don’t need anything but I’m a Tatcha product fairy at this point! Everyone gets Tatcha products as gifts! Throw the purple confetti! Everything else so far has been made with excellent craftsmanship and this lovely gold tray is no exception. It’s a great place to keep your favorites/daily products in one place that is also beautiful!

It’s way too small!! It would be great is it was bigger. I am returning it. Not worth the money. Very disappointed

Lovely Addition to my Home
is beautiful with a lovely finish. I keep it on the round table I inherited from my grandmother and on the tray I keep a Tatcha trinket box, a small dish for my watch, my Tatcha lip balm, etc. This is a high quality product and in the four years I've owned it, it has shown absolutely zero wear. I want to echo something I read in another review: I really wish Tatcha would offer more gift products like the Obon tray, jewellery, fans, etc. I purchase Tatcha less often now that there aren't as many gift options. I found the gifts from Tatcha to be different and unique, things I only have ever found here. Please consider reintroducing these gifts again

myself to an advance birthday present with this lovely goal tray, which is quite a substantial size. You can place lots of your Tatch products on it, so it looks elegant rather than ulitiarian. The gold is not brassy at all, just a gentle glow. I love it, and would feel proud to give one as a birthday or anniversary present to a dear family member or friend

I had been lemming the tray for a while, and finally took the plunge! So glad I did, because it is a gorgeous gold tray that subtly glows, doesn't look cheap and shiny at all. You can use it to serve drinks to guests (I'd use something insulating under hot drinks, out of caution), or display your Tatcha treasures just for yourself. Very well packed, not even a tiny scratch. Japanese attention to detail results in perfection!
