The dermatologist diagnosed contact dermatitis caused by either the papaya enzymes or the rice micro grains contained in the product. I understand not everyone might have the same reaction after using this product, but this is a word of caution for those with very sensitive skin

I use other Tatcha skincare and wanted to try the Peony eye cream. First few days I noticed a difference and was working out well for me. But after one week I noticed my left under eye had many visible wrinkles and dry I also noticed that only on that side I started to get a bag and puffy. Discontinued use and it's taken more than a few days but my eye is slowly getting back to normal. I don't know what specific ingredient caused this flare up. I'm disappointed that I couldn't continue to use it

I’m only giving this 4 stars because the eye cream is really thick and if you have long nails it gets stuck under them and hard to apply. I do really like this cream and a little bit goes a very long way. Maybe add a little spatula for this to help apply??or I guess if you have one use it for this. It is a good product just needs to be tweaked a bit
