Should have purchased it sooner
at it, I thought it would be ceramic. In reasoning, it is nice that it isn't. With soapy hands and foamy rice wash, it would have been in pieces after a couple of uses. I am happy with the purchase as cleansing my face is now easier. I always had grains when using my hands to create the foam. Now I feel like I am coating my skin with fluffy clouds

Indulgent & High Quality
I’m so glad I bought this (I waffled for a while). The experience is so luxurious and calming, I actually look forward to my nighttime ablutions now! The bowl and brush are high quality. They are made from some sort of light wood (maybe balsa?) and gorgeously lacquered. So delicate but durable. (Ignore the comments from people saying it’s plastic, that’s not true)

is a treat I didn’t know I needed. I love the rice polish, but using it with this brush takes it to a new level. It’s like a little ritual I do at night that I find soothing. The bowl is lacquer, not porcelain, but this didn’t hurt my feelings at all. I love it! 💯

Spa-like
tool is one I didn’t realize I needed until I bought it on a whim. I love the rice cleansing product, but I didn’t really like mixing it up with water in my palm. This tool makes that process not only easier, but better. It feels luxurious to me every time I use it. And I use way less of the rice polish. So happy I bought it. I use it everyday

It’s plastic, not luxury
I LOVE Tatcha products, they’re the best on the market, and when I saw this brush and bowl set, I thought it’d be a functional item for my mask and rice polish application. I was so disappointed to see I paid $124 for plastic. I feel duped. First they take away the exfoliation cleanser and now they’re selling this item as luxury? Shame on them
Elegant and luxury
but i find the brush is small when using on the face. I own high-end Japanese brushes from the best brush makers in Japan being a brush collector and i find this brush really small for the face. I love that u can hang it vertically. I love the acrylic base and the cup. But the brush although is good quality is small. Also when wet it slides a bit in your hand when brushing it on your face. So i am considering using one of my other larger brushes. Please try redesigning and improving this. The concept is good and unique

I love Tatcha products, I feel for the price of this, the bowl should be porcelain rather than lacquer. When I watched the video, it looked like a porcelain bowl. I was disappointed when it arrived
Beautifully designed functional face brush
I am too old to continue using rough exfoliating cloths and gloves on my face every time I wash my face. I was overdue for an upgrade from my cheap scrubbing gloves for the sake of my skin that I was blissfully unaware would change so drastically as I aged. The price gave me pause but but after buying the Odon Tray and everythingelseavailablethen for my birthday last year and arranging what I use most often in a visually appealing way on the Odon Tray, I am elated I purchased this brush/bowl/hanger set. I just wanted to pop in while I was here checking in on my recent order and thought for anyone on the fence: just buy it. Tatcha has a great customer service team if you’re unhappy with your expensive purchase so you might as well have that “treat yourself” moment on something that will definitely bring you a smile with the combination of form and function. Another Tatcha winner!

I have to say this is my favorite Tatcha product! This is the best way to apply the Rice Polish. Using your hands just doesn’t work up the lather. As others have said, it makes a wonderful cleansing ritual at night and the skin is so soft! I wish we could get replacement brushes but I was able to order one in a different color from Kashoen 1883 in Japan. They were very helpful in sending me a link in English to order any of their brushes. Thank you Tatcha for offering this wonderful product!
