The holy grail
I switch off between this and the dewy skin collection. I’m in my mid 40’s, just recovered this last year from stage 4 cancer. So I definitely needed some attention to my skin. I haven’t been great about consistency, but just started using every night for about two weeks. My redness has reduced, and my fine lines have reduced. I use Tatcha as well as DRMTLGY products. is replacing a discontinued Organic Pharmacy Men's Cream I have used for almost 10 years. It is non-irritating and moisturizing. I have to use the overnight in addition if I want to still be glossy in the am. I have yet to use in my t zone (too scared) but I have mild bumpy rosacea on my cheeks and this has not irritated it in 1 week of use. In combination with the milky sunscreen this has been great! You also need VERY little of it, so I end up with a little hand moisturizer at the end :) To be honest I really miss the glass containers. It feels less premium without it

is for people whose skin has maybe changed, and who are looking for a new solution: I first bought Tatcha's Camellia oil when it initially came out on QVC, almost 15 years ago. I have loved it for a long time. It was the only thing that kept my dry, flaky skin hydrated and plump, even through the harsh Midwestern winters. But somewhere in my late 30s, I started breaking out a lot, and it took me a long time to realize that my beloved oil was to blame. From there, I cycled through all of Tatcha's cleansers, and then other brands too, and while the breakouts stopped, my skin remained dry and rough, and I finally gave up and accepted being a gross, unwashed gremlin--until this month, when I stumbled into a sample of the cleansing balm. It cleanses, it smooths, it doesn't strip the skin, it pairs well with the rice polish and the silk cream that I continue to love, and for the first time in 6 or 7 years, I am washing my face every day again because I wake up looking fresh and healthy instead of broken out and irritated. I am so grateful Tatcha released this formula, after my skin betrayed me in such an unexpected twist. It's genuinely so nice to be comfortable with my face again!

Why doesn't this one come in XL size?
I am allergic to lanolin and sulfites and my skin is very dry. I had been using a different brand but on a trip - maybe because of dry airplane air? - I developed a problem with superdry eyelids and the other cream could not be used around the eyes. Ended up trying this one and found it WONDERFUL. As I am a bit childish I also like the blue color, makes it more fun to apply. Pleasantly surprised that it moisturizes sufficiently even in the winter. I can't say that I see any difference vis a vis redness but that's OK for me. Now the negatives: I don't like the night cream at all, I find it smeary. I wish the day cream like many of Tatcha's other creams, came in the supersize. And I have shared the experience of some other reviewers, that there must be an occasional problem with the cream dispensing machinery, because some jars arrive with a GIANT air bubble in them causing the contents to be at best half full and sometimes less. I don't know what to do about this. Customer service did send me a mini version but they denied that there could possibly be a systemic problem and I can't keep writing to them each time it happens, if it happens again. But the cream is too expensive to just accept half a jar

MONTHS I was getting horrible sores on the sides of my mouth. I thought maybe cold sores? Was taking meds for it twice a day, but it didn’t do anything. Then my eyelid became swollen and red and itchy. It was like that for weeks. I realized it might be eczema, and tried to find anything that would help. Nothing made it go away until I got this. The first night I used it, the irritation went down significantly. After a few days, my skin was great. No problems at all. On my third order of it, and I still havent had any problems flare up again. I’m upset I dealt with those awful sore for almost all of last year when all I had to do was switch moisturizers
