so i honestly was hoping i would not like this bag so I could send it back. It's so expensive, and I am a petty graphic designer and do not care for the shortylove logo/name and hate that it's so large (and pink) on the front of the bag. However, it exceeded my expectations and feels so well made that I kept it and am now writing this review (though I did plop a patch over the logo, sorry). This bag is exactly what I was needing for my work travel bag, and if this company ever rebrands I will definitely be making more purchases in the future - no shade, shortylove, but your name/logo look + sound like a cheap amazon brand and you are so far from that! Thank you for producing quality products in an era where literally nothing is quality <3
Backpack for life!
is the ultimate backpack and the only one you will ever need. This backpack is the perfect for travel, tennis, gym, day trips and school. The bottom zips open and can hold a pair of shoes, extra clothes or jacket. The organization in this bag is insane. Well thought out with a place for everything. Lastly the fabric is amazing quality and very durable. Wish I could own one bag of every style!

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect large backpack that was functional and stylish. Although the Boxer is stylish and a beautiful blue color, it does not wear well as a backpack when not using the bottom zipper section and adding a laptop to the back compartment. This bag only really works if you have something substantial to put in the bottom zipper compartment. Otherwise, it falls over when sitting it down and, as mentioned, isn’t comfortable to use as a backpack. Had I known of this distribution issue before taking the tags off I would have returned it, but their policy requires tags be on the merchandise to return. So, now I am out $300 and back to looking for the perfect stylish backpack. Two stars because the quality seems good
Boxer is perfect carryon!
the Boxer to have a larger backpack as a carryon for my two week vacation in Scandinavia & it was absolutely perfect. It fit everything I needed, provided easy access for the things I needed to have handy & was surprisingly light considering I packed it to the brim! I have way too many shortyLOVE bags already, but happy I added this one to my collection!
Bottomless pit!
Can’t leave home without it? You won’t have to worry if you buy the boxer. It is designed so well to carry everything you need- from work, to travel to play. The first thing I noticed when I first put my hands on it was the quality. There is nothing flimsy or cheap. The thoughtful storage options are great and I love the color- I actually had trouble deciding which color to pick. I have used my boxer every single day since she arrived on my doorstep. Love it, love it, love it!!!

is well made for sure, but has some big flaws. First, the top shoulder strap is too short and cannot be detached. Also, because the shoe compartment is so big, you don't have enough space in the upper compartment. I would suggest making the shoe compartment fully detachable or such that it can be opened up inside to make better use of the space when you are not carrying shoes (otherwise the bottom scrunches up and the bag flops). A luggage strap would also be helpful. Please consider making a size in between this and the smaller backpack that would be a better traveler backpack for folks who are using it with a roller bag (we don't need the shoe compartment but need more space than your next option). I like the shape and design much better than the quilted option, which probably is the right size for this use. For the record, I have the small crossover that I love and use all the time

I searched and searched (meaning I spent HOURS of time online watching YouTube videos and reading reviews of bags/backpacks for travel). H O U R S. I was honing in on a more structured type of bag with a perfect little spot for everything. But… Google showed me the Boxer in a search and I was intrigued…. I was bummed that there were no YouTube nerds doing a 27 minute ridicu-thon tho… it seemed like such a gamble. I spent more hours…. I kept coming back to the Boxer. And then I just pulled the pin. Ordered the Slate/Teal (another total whim. I forced myself not to get another black bag)… It came SUPER FAST. Fast enough even for me to be able to take it on my Birthday trip to Belize two days later! And… I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It carries a TON! It doesn’t feel ridiculously heavy even when I had both my ipad and laptop in there. The shoulder strap is AWESOME. I thought I’d grab it and use it as a tote handle, but found it on my shoulder way more often. The color is fun! (I hope i can keep it clean. I wasn’t too careful, even bringing it on the fishing boat with me). I love that it looks fashion-y but is super functional. Can’t recommend enough

And the detachable pouch is surprisingly useful. I also like having the tote strap option a lot more than I was expecting. And it’s super cute to boot. After using it, I would have liked if this bag a secured strap for keys inside the small front pocket or main compartment but still highly recommend! I made a leap purchasing this bag after reading about. No one I knew had the bag so I went off of reviews. There are 2 issues I’ve had: 1) the left shoulder strap doesn’t stay up. I have tried every adjustment possible to fix it. The right shoulder is fine. 2) the short buckle strap across the top is cumbersome to get around when you’re getting in your bags I unbuckled it but the strap is permanent so the buckle just hangs. The bag is good about space though/
