these are just not wide foot friendly. I originally purchased 12s to try to get some extra width, and while they sort of fit they were too too long and my foot felt like it was sliding around. When I exchanged them for 11s they were too small and too narrow. The heel area on the 11s were especially narrow

I have difficult-to-fit feet, but TOMS shoes have not let me down. I have more TOMS than any other shoe brand. These shoes are a tad long, so if your feet are normal width, go true to size. My feet are supah-wide so the size I buy accommodates that. The Alpargatas are perfect for me (never too long) so I got the same size in these very cute shoes. I will live with “a tad long” because they are so cute and perfectly comfortable
