At the point where it ends it digs painfully into my foot with every step. I want desperately to wear them, but they need to be worn with bandaids and for short periods of time - hopefully with the outcome of breaking them in. Please, please take out that hard insert

The strap is adjustable so they can fit a variety of widths AND. . . . this hasn't happened yet, but if they stretch from wear, you can tighten them. Did I mention comfortable?!!!
