I like them a lot. They are surprisingly comfortable. I wouldn't take a long walk in these shoes, but I have no problem running errands. I'm usually between a 8. 5 and a 9. I tried both, and it was definitely the 8. 5 for me. I must say they fit very narrow (but I have narrow feet so that's a plus for me). They hold on well even walking through grass and sand
