I'm a hair product snob and have tried just about everything, from high end to drug store lines. This is hands down the BEST shampoo I've ever used. It gently cleanses the scalp, it's easy to lather and you don't need a lot of product. I have an oily scalp and fine, highlighted hair that has thinned a bit in my mid 40s. I typically have issues with sulfate-free shampoos leaving build up on my scalp and a residue on my hair - this one doesn't. Or other shampoos are too harsh and create an itchy scalp, stripped color and dry hair. Not this one. The scalp line checks every box. It even works well with hard water. With this one, my scalp is soothed and my hair is shiny and clean. I've been using the MoroccanOil Scalp shampoo, conditioner and tonic since the line debuted and will never use anything else, no matter the cost. I pair it with the new MoroccanOil Volumizing Mist and heat protectant and every day is a good hair day. Please don't change a thing about this product!

I’m in perimenopause and for whatever reason it has made coloring my hair more difficult. My scalp became irritated and very sensitive. My stylist worked with me and we even changed hair color products to Moroccanoil too. I’ve used Moroccanoil hair products for years now, but I first decided to start using the dry scalp treatment the day before coloring and that helped a lot but it wasn’t 100% yet. So when Moroccanoil came out with this new line for scalp balancing, I had to try it. It works awesome! I’ve never had dry scalp, dandruff etc but it’s totally helping me with my sensitive scalp issue. I would highly recommend the shampoo, conditioner and the dry scalp treatment. A+ Moroccanoil!
