I've only gotten to use this once so far. I think it works. When you was with it, it does leave your hair feeling stripped but not in a bad way. I follow up worh the moisturizing shampoo and then conditioner and my hair is back to being moisturized ans ok. I love it. I just cant give it 5 stars because I haven't used it enough times yet to see the long term effects. I only plan on using it like once a month

I've been using Moroccanoil clarifying shampoo for years. My regular shampoo and conditioner are Moroccanoil Color Care. I use the clarifying shampoo around once a week to get rid of buildup. It works great! The only gripe I have is that you can't find it anywhere except on the Moroccanoil website. It's not a huge deal, though!
