I am very disappointed with this purchase. It turns on/off and changes temperature when you are using it because the controls are on the handle. The bristles are short and hard so they pull and break your hair. My hair has a medium thickness with a subtle wave and this does not straighten it at all. This product doesn't serve a purpose. I would not recommend it to anyone

you need to reduce frizz and straighten your hair, this tool is a quick and easy way to do it. It will not give you the perfectly straight, flattened look that a flat iron will, but it's really great for just a simple, smoothed down, everyday styling. The ends don't get quite as "finished" as they do with the straight iron either, but I love using this to prepare my hair for a quick pony tail or braid in the Summer. Pros: Heats fast; easy to use; smooths quickly Cons: Doesn't give the ends a smoothed finish; tool smokes when any hair is caught in it; not easy to clean or remove trapped hair

I freaking love this thing
I have fine straight hair that holds creases easily. Straightening my hair is always bittersweet since it's easy to damage my hair. Ceramic flatirons were my go to. And then I tried the ceramic brush. This tool is exceptional. It takes less than even 3 minutes to straighten all of my hair. The comb makes it easy to straighten your hair and add a curve if you want to (you don't have to have Avril Lavigne straight hair if that's not your thing). It is noticeably less damaging to my hair, since it isn't being panini-pressed like a flat iron does, and doesn't cause nearly as much of my hair strands to be pulled out/broken. It comb heats up very quickly. I pretty much tell everyone who will listen that I found the holy grail to straightening fine hair

Turns off while using
the buttons are where you hold to style your hair, it easy turns off, have to keep turning it back on over and over, even when you lock it, the on/off button will trun it off. Very disappointing!
