I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. For reference I’m not a natural blond and not sure if it would be light or medium blond but when I went to my usual colorist I told him I wanted “Blake Lively Blond”. And he delivered. Then I wanted to be more creative and bold. Normally I wouldn’t color my own hair but he recommended another brand for between appointments and my shampoo washed his pinkish purple color out in 4 washes but the one he told me about didn’t have a color I liked and while I’m adventurous I’m not a color expert and didn’t feel like mixing colors myself. Insert this!!! SO EXCITED! I did miss some spots but the nice thing is since it’s a depositing mask I can fix the parts I missed. But wanted to share a pic of the results for those wondering. If it matters I’m 45 with a corporate job and specifically asked two people from HR (both on the director level) if there were any restrictions on hair color and they said do whatever I want. Sooo while this will never be a replacement for my usual guy this is so much fun and I love it! Hair is naturally wavy but I blow it straight and use a curling wand. Only product is hair spray

hairdresser very slightly bleaches a few strands of my medium brown hair and then mixes these two colors together before applying all over my hair. She leaves it on for 15-20 minutes with a plastic cap to enhance. It comes out such a fun mix of colors . . . some of my original underneath color (along with some silvery strands as I am 76), some burgundy looking parts and dark pinkish/reddish where the bleached parts are. I love it! My hair feels so healthy after applying this mask. I've tried many different techniques for a myriad of colors over the years, but for the last two years this has become my favorite. Has to be redone about every two months, but the highlighting underneath only twice a year. Get many compliments also! And my husband LOVES, LOVES it!!!! my 30th birthday I decided to use the hibiscus color depositing conditioner on my whole head of blonde. It was awesome! So easy to use, made my hair softer and smelled great, and could not believe how vibrant the color was. Since my hair has been damaged by plenty of bleaching and is very light blonde, the color stuck around for a while. I only kept it for two weeks (sister's wedding) and used two rounds of color remover to get back to blonde. I imagine it would have stayed for over a month if I kept to my regular washing routine (1-2x/week). The fading pink was pretty, too

VIBRANT PINK!
I planned on using this as a base to my pink color.. I do have lightened level 10 blonde hair and it took so well and is super vibrant! It is not drying at all on my hair. I have not washed it yet but I am very happy with the hibiscus color!
