I had to verify my suspicion online that yes, it smells like melted crayons. I am willing to deal with it for it to be fragrance free but at this price point and in this day it seems like there has to be some sort of natural and chemical free solution to this. The color was too orange for my cooler toned skin for my liking as well. I was looking for an alternative to the discontinued g suite “curve” color and this isn’t it

lipstick in Fuzz used to be my absolute favourite - one of the only lipsticks I’ve ever used all the way up. I ordered a new one and thought it was faulty as it smelled and felt weird… Glossier were very helpful and sent a replacement, but informed me that this was just the new formula…. I’m genuinely distraught and can see that a lot of other reviewers feel the same. I literally have a tiny sliver of my original lipstick left that I save for special occasions. Please please please Glossier listen and bring the old formula back!!!

I used to always use cake day to day, recently repurchased as i’d run out and I can’t stand this new formula - think I’m going to have to shop around for a new tinted lip balm. The old formula was smooth and moisturising, smelt nice, and had a really lovely dark peach type colour. The new formula smells like plastic/crayons, and is really grainy and chalky to apply. The colour is also far lighter (and worse) than it used to be. Glossier please sort this out and bring back the old formula, or you will be losing a lot of loyal customers

this was my favorite lipstick but the recent reformulation is awful. horrible grainy sand texture, chemical wax smell, splotchy. i thought it was just the top layer feeling scratchy so i scraped the top off but its the whole thing. it almost feels like a mistake that it’s this bad
Used to be my go to but new formula is horrible
I’ve always used gen g in cake as my everyday lip colour, and always loved the shade and how moisturising but subtle it was. I’ve however just picked up a new one as mine finished, and immediately could tell it was a new formula. The colour is lighter, it feels chalky rather the smooth and moisturising when it goes on, and has a plastic/crayon scent. Really horrible. Unless glossier changes the formula back I think I’m going to have to shop around with other brands

I used to have this cloudy smudgy gorgeous product in a red and it was so nice! So I bought another shade, but it doesn't feel the same and it absolutely stinks. I do not want that smell/taste anywhere near my mouth - which is ideal for a lip product. . . . It feels like I've been eating wax crayons. The colour is nice, but the texture feels grainy and I just know I won't reach for it because it's not a pleasant experience to wear

new formula is terrible, and the color “Like” is totally different from the original. If you’re going to change the color, at least call it something else. This used to be my go-to, and now it’s trash
