two of these last year as I’m a fan of the birthday balm, I love how it feels, looks great on, and tastes yum. I was going to buy 2 more candles this year, but instead of them both being birthday, I got one in the lilyhaze scent to try (it’s nice but won’t repurchase it as it doesn’t hold a candle to this gem). I light candles almost every evening, and have a select few brands and scents I like. While I haven’t tried the other two by glossier, I’ve been in a more gourmand vanilla phase the past year or so, this one hits the spot! Since I feel like it’s got cozy vibes, it’s something I’d only tend to burn in the fall and winter, as it has cozy vibes and my birthday is also the day after Christmas so there’s that too! For whatever reason, maybe because it’s been a while, but tonight has been my first time burning my recent birthday cake candle, and the scent seems stronger and richer than I remember! I mentioned this with the other candle, but feel like it applies even more so here, these candles have wonderful throw to them so despite the size, they can fill a large open space like my oversized bedroom upstairs, and you’d be able to smell it upon walking up the stairs. I love that! I only wish Glossier would make them in a mini size (perfect for around the bathroom), and a larger version as well for an exra kick! But this is a perfect size for my bedroom, and it leaves a delicious scent! And the other great thing is you can reuse the candle when you’re done with it, put your mascaras and eyeliners in it, or pens etc. But that’s just the bonus, the candle is really where it’s at! Now all Glossier needs to do is to release a birthday cake perfume, shower gel, and body cream and I’ll be set!

I NEED this scent in a body wash, lotion, EVERYTHING. It actually smells so good like I want to eat it. I’m an avid enjoyer of birthday cake/baked good scents and this is by far the best one that I have found. It’s a little pricey but so worth it because it actually lasts a long time and it’s super cute. I’ve made all my friends smell it and they agree it genuinely smells delicious

I'm a big fan! Please keep these! I have what I like to call Super senses. Mostly because I get migraines and my kids tell me that I can smell things they can't. These Candles are a great mix of baked goods. Doesn't hurt my head and is strong enough to give off smell without lighting it. Make more baked sents and I will buy them. I think if I could find a sent that smelled like fried ice cream like the old Applebees hot plates. Like a cinnamon/ vanilla/Caramel mix! I’d buy that in a heartbeat!

It smells exactly like the birthday cake balm dot com, so it is a very warm vanilla scent. The base is very sturdy and definitely going to be reused in my bathroom somewhere; not sure if I would pay full-price but I definitely do not regret this purchase. The scent is STRONG, so if you're not into that this might not be the candle for you
